Imagine a 10km run that combines the fresh scent of spring pine with the sound of a thousand runners; where soft, springy forest tracks and trails lead you deep into woodland, along field edges, past open water and eventually deposit you back into the hustle and bustle of a superb event village with post-race food, drink, entertainments and more.
All of our locations have been selected for the quality of their running routes, their accessibility for you, the runner, and their stunning backdrops in which to enjoy a couple of hours or maybe even a whole weekend, with friends and family or simply solo.

Entries will close on midnight on the Wednesday before each event (providing spaces still remain), but late entrants may be delayed during registration.
There will be no entry available on the day.
Start Times
You have a choice of 8 waves according to your pace:
- Wave 1 (sub 45min 10k pace), starts at 11:00am
- Wave 2 (sub 55min 10k pace), starts at 11:15am
- Wave 3 (sub 55min 10k pace), starts at 11:30am
- Wave 4 (sub 55min 10k pace), starts at 11:45am
- Wave 5 (sub 65min 10k pace), starts at 12:00am
- Wave 6 (sub 65min 10k pace), starts at 12:15am
- Wave 7 (sub 65min 10k pace), starts at 12:30am
- Wave 8 (65min + 10k pace), starts at 12:45pm
If you don’t know your normal 10k pace, try timing at a comfortable 1km run, and multiplying the time by 12. This doesn’t need to be exact, it’s intended to give you an enjoyable run from as soon as you start, right up until you finish.
Registration on the day
Please read carefully the information below. It is your responsibility to be prepared and know the procedure on the day to reduce the chance of delays. NOTHING IS POSTED PRE-EVENT.
On arrival at the venue, you’ll need to register. We may ask you to assemble in your starting wave up to fifteen minutes before your actual start time, so please allow at least an hour to arrive, park and register, and then you can relax in our event village.
In order to register you will need to know your RACE NUMBER
The Entry List including race numbers will be published on this website on the following dates:
- 7th May at 1400 for Bedgebury Forest event
- 21st May at 1400 for The Forest of Dean event
- 4th June at 1400 for Clumber Park event
If you do not know your race number, your registration process could be delayed, as all participants with race numbers will be given priority, with NO exceptions. If you’re arriving unprepared, arrive EXTRA early. Thank you for observing, so we can reduce any fuss on the day.
At the registration you will receive your Race Pack containing:
- Race number*
- 4 safety pins
- Wristband indicating your start wave
- Timing chip (Timing Chip MUST be attached to your shoelaces. If you place it anywhere else it will not record your time)
*IMPORTANT! On the back of your Race Number you will find a medical info form printed. We strongly advise that you fill it out on the day in case we need to help you in an Emergency.
Please know your size before registering. There will be NO FITTING or EXCHANGE at registration - It significantly slows down the registration process. There will be Women S - L and Men S - XL available. The t-shirt sizes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please bear in mind that there will be a large number of competitors registering on the day and we want to ensure the fastest and smoothest registration possible for all of you.
